Latest In Beauty Box #2

After running out of the Dr Nick Lowe Sebum Control Lotion from my last box (see this post), I saw the Foam Cleanser and Spot Gel on Latest In Beauty and decided it was time for another box! As well as the Dr Nick Lowe goodies I also decided to give the Caudalie Vinosource bundle and the Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation.

Dr Nick Lowe Foam Face Wash and Spot Treatment (not on anymore, but there's a collection with them in it for £7.50)

I liked the Sebum Control Cleanser, so I figured giving these a try couldn't hurt. My skin seems to have grown immune to my usual spot treatment, so hopefully the gel will help! These products have a nice witch hazel-esque smell, quite sharp and woodeny. (Ok, so I'm terrible at identifying smells, but it's what I THINK witch hazel smells like!) The products leave my skin feeling clean and the spot gel is really soothing on my spots, which are usually quite sore. I've been trying to decide if I want to purchase the full range as a treat, so I'm hoping this will help me decide.

Caudalie Vinosource bundle £3.50

This collection was meant to be one application, but so far I've managed two and still have a little left. The products are lovely and leave the skin feeling unbelievably smooth for hours, but they're a bit out of my price range at the moment! I'd be most likely to go for the Thirst Quenching Serum, it really makes my skin feel soft and pampered. Plus, how cute it the packaging?!

Perricone Foundation £4.00

I think the photo gives away what my problem with this is, the colour is far too dark for my skin. But, I did try it on today as I wasn't leaving the house and I REALLY like the formula. I can't comment on the undertone correction as the colour is too dark, but my skin felt smoothed over and the foundation set in to a non greasy finish. When I touched my face it didn't feel like the foundation would slide off and had blurred any imperfections. I noticed on the website that they have a "fair" version, so once I've gotten through my enormous pile of foundations I will be keeping this in mind.

Have you ever tried the LIB samples before? If so, what did you go for?
