5 Product Face Tag

Benefit Gimme Brow//Sleek Blush By 3//Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara//Natural Collection Loose Powder//Max Factor Face Finity 3 in 1 Foundation//

This tag has been going about for a while, but it keeps cropping up on my Bloglovin' feed this week so I couldn't resist jumping on the bandwagon! The only thing out if this tag I found difficult to choose was the foundation. Normally I wear a really light coverage like MAC Face and Body or just a dab of concealer to cover my dark circles and spots, but I recently had a reaction to a product and my face is pretty burnt, dry and peeling.

1. Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation

I spent a good two weeks researching foundations to find a light and a fuller coverage foundation for my kit. As I've just started out I can't afford to be buying 5+ shades of expensive foundations, so I took advantage of Boots latest 3 for 2 and bought this foundation. Of course, I had to try it out to make sure it's good enough for clients, right? The foundation really does give a flawless finish, evening out skin tone without looking cakey. The colour is good for my pale skin, not too yellow and not too pink and as it's 3 in 1 there's no need for concealer.

2. Sleek Blush By 3 in Californ.I.A £9.99

After my make up course I have completely fallen in love with cream blushes. With my cheeks and lips it's been all about coral, so for this look I've opted for the middle shade - The Surf - to give a nice summery glow to my cheeks. It looks a lot more pink at the moment because my skin is so red on my cheeks from the reactions.

3. Natural Collection Loose Powder

As someone with oily skin, I can never survive a day without a nice dusting of powder, especially in this hotter weather. As I've mentioned before, I'm quite easy when it comes to powder and opted for something cheap and cheerful!

4. Max Factor False Lash Effect Fusion Mascara

If you're familiar with my blog you will already know that I like my lashes to be dark and thick, so I piled on a healthy few layers of mascara to make my sparse lashes look more presentable.

5. Benefit Gimme Brow

I spent so long trying to resist this, but after seeing so many good reviews I couldn't resist. For the first week I really didn't think it was anything special, but after I got used to the wand and my technique improved, I started to see what all the fuss is about. I'm not sure if I'd repurchase this as there are many cheaper alternatives, but for now this does me just dandy.

If you had to choose only 5 items to complete a look, what would you choose? Do you wear a lot more on a daily basis? I use on average 8 or 9 products!

    1. It's really good! I spent forever researching and humming over cream blushers, but this is the one I reach for the most. Plus, it doesn't break the bank :)
