April Favourites

Most of my money has been spent on items for my make up kit this month, so I'm trying to go back to basics and use up all of the products I have lying about my house before I buy more. The next month or so will probably be full of some old favourites and bargains, as well as some non beauty favourites!

MUA Undressed & Undressed Too Palettes

I've had this for about two months now and only just started wearing them in the past few weeks. I first bought them after hearing all the hype that they were a dupe of the Naked Palettes, but they sat in my make up drawer, untouched, as I have plenty of brown eyeshadows as it is. As soon as I put on the shimmery browns from the Undressed Too palette, I could see exactly what the fuss was about! The pigmentation reminds me of a cream eyeshadow, it's so shimmery and almost looks wet! The copper colours are especially nice, like molten gold. They blend and mix well, not to mention lasting all day without creasing!

The Complete Guide To Everything Podcast

I've been listening to TCGTE for a good year and a bit now and I have a creepy emotional attachment to the podcast. It honestly feels like I'm listening to two of my friends talking once a week. I never really thought about podcasts before, but when I started to get bored of listening to music all the time at the gym I decided to try something new. I'm not entirely sure how I found Tim and Tom, but after listening to one episode I was hooked. Ok, so a majority of the episode is usually spent bickering and going off on tangents rather than talking about the subject at hand. But I spend a lot of that time holding in giggles so as not to look crazy as the gym and I have genuinely learned so much over the year and a half!

Monsters by Isla J Bick

I love the Ashes triology by Isla J Bick and am now onto the last book, Monsters. I'm a bit rusty with reading but it's something I want to get back into, so hopefully there will be more books in future favourites! I love books that are based around the theory of some sort of apocalypse and this one is so unique that I just cannot put it down.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing a little bit of a different kind of favourites today and didn't find it too boring! What non beauty items have you been loving this month?
