First Lush Purchase!

I couldn't tell you the last time I shopped in Lush. It must be a least 8 years and I think it was probably my mum who bought me things! I've been thinking of shopping there for a while, but never really knew what I would go for. Yesterday I went in with one of the girls from work, who also happens to have an amazing knowledge of skincare.

Between ourselves and one of the helpful assistants, we managed to pick out a face mask that would help with my skin in it's current condition. Over the past week, I've been wearing my usual dewy finish in foundations, but my skin ends up looking dry and flaky after a few hours. I think it's a mixture of dehydration and dryness, so I chose the Oatifix mask. It's packed with bananas, oats and almonds to nourish and gently exfoliate the skin.

As soon as I saw the Tea Tree Toning Water, I knew it would be right up my street. Tea Tree is a natural antiseptic that is great for treating excess oil and blemishes. After cleansing, I spritz this a couple of times over my face and let it dry. Hopefully it will help with the stubborn spots on my chin!

I find my hair gets really oily as I run most days and sometimes even two shampoos doesn't seem enough. I decided to pick up the Big Sea Salt Shampoo, as the salt will help to scrub my scalp and get rid of all the build up. It claims to give volume to the hair, which I didn't notice much of a difference with personally.

Which Lush products do you recommend me to try? I can't wait to try out more of the masks!
